Volvo Key Fob Troubleshooting

Volvo drivers are enthralled by the remote control capabilities of their key fob. They can lock and unlock their vehicle or start the motor and even locate it via the smartphone app.

You can also use the key fob to activate your car's panic alarm. This will sound an intense, enthralling roar which can deter thieves and allow you to return home in peace after a night out. This feature is helpful for those who live in a dangerous location or you want to protect your family while away from home.

The opening of the Tailgate

Volvo's key fob is stuffed with useful features. They are great if you're swamped with shopping or helping your kids to pack their sports gear after practice.

If you own the Hands-Free Liftgate with Logo Projection and Programmable Height (if equipped), then you can open it with the key fob. It is possible to open the liftgate by pressing the button and then close it by pressing the same button.
