WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade item.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for the latter due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. The item upgrades used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, item level upgrade based on the item level, however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current level of the Item Level upgrade. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Crests

Players have a number of options for upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character that will be able to avail the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with top-quality equipment.
