WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item upgrades by 3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.
