WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item upgrading will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using a button, which will show a preview of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current level of the item. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currencies.

Upgraders for items are available in a variety of locations including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrade (visit the next page) level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests can only be used on equipment of a particular rank, and that each rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and easiest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade requires up to 20 crests, contingent on the type or gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in any difficulty to earn lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with heroic difficulty for endgame gear. These crests can be exchanged with an Best item upgrade upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade items the item in the proper steps and pathways.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it will bring some changes to the process of upgrading. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests only have one purpose, so it's important to use them properly. For instance it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the top equipment available and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to create. This is particularly relevant for items like trinkets and rings that take up multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
