Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The most effective way to improve your equipment in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This lets you enhance your gear without having to rely on expensive trades or drops. This article will teach you how to upgrade your items.

Upgrading equipment grants an additional bonus to the item's base stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components can make your armour and weapons better. You can find them through destroying enemies, buying them from karma sellers or finding them in the form of item-spheres.
