Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for people who live in flats as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin, and also uses the docking station that is smaller. The application lets you set various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, as is the fact that it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can mop and vacuum. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which scrubs more and has an app for mobile that is simpler to use but it does make an excellent choice. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of different sizes and types from hard floors and carpets. The Combo is one of my favorites for most homes. Its elegant design is also among the best I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more elegant than the metallic or glossy finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as a leather tab for opening the bin that is onboard, and a shelf to hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively new player in the robot mop and vacuum industry, has already established itself with innovative cleaning technology. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, while mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors to remove dirt. Furthermore, a range of mapping and scheduling options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your home's specific needs.

Another impressive Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's top models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best robot vacuum and mop in its class in terms of navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to run over pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this issue by utilizing an AI system called Reactive that uses two cameras to see the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots also come with numerous convenience features that make it easier to manage day-to-day maintenance. These include auto-empty capable docks and multifunctional mop washing stations. These eliminate the need to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, making for a truly hands-off ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its straightforward design and lag-free connection with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its wide range of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities, is among the top robot vacuums/mops that can be used on dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to design and execute a route that is the most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials, and Robot Vacuum cleaner obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even lift its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the proper amount of water to wash away stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee is an Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which cost more. It has more features than either one and has a more flexible D-shaped body that can clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots only have one pair). It also comes with Legee SLAM that reduces the bump-and grind problems that plague Gen 4 Robots.

It also has an 'emergency' button that will make the robot return to base in the event that it is unable to supply power and can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if a storm is approaching.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, despite being large at almost 4kg, it's not too difficult to maneuver around furniture. Parents of small children will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn it to avoid stairs. Once charged it takes only several hours to fully charge and the two buttons on top will blink green to let you know that it is ready to go.

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that combines modern cleaning technology with affordability. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its price being lower it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that other models can't compete with. It makes use of sensors to alter its settings to suit different surfaces and floors as well as detect dirtier areas and ensure that they receive enough attention. It can also move slower to avoid damaging furniture or walls.

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum/mop. It does a great job at keeping floors tidy and clean. It can't lift its mops to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective in cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a superior level of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a top-quality application that runs on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than the other models, and its main brush is shorter however, it did an impressive job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice addition and, despite the fact that it didn't remove dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as other competitors but it did a decent job overall.
