Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle a variety of flooring. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.

When I tried the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues traversing the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about twelve cleaning sessions before it has to be emptied, though it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, [Redirect Only] you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as they are required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best automatic vacuum cleaner mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always get every last piece of dust. It's important to autonomous vacuum often, at least once a week. The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.

Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best robot vacuum vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robot vacuums that mop in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic vacuum cleaner water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home this really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction when needed. The app also lets you to mark areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
