It's easy to push and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second single convertible stroller for their travels. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. 5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also produce a wide variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers that we tested, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other pram hoods that get turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next
