Midi Bed With Storage

A midi-bed with storage, also called a cabin bed, provides the best of both sleeping areas and plenty of space to store and play with toys. Make a space for their favorite toys or make it an outdoor parking area. With shelves that they can personalise and use in any way they like.

Size

Midi beds that have storage are typically lower than high-sleepers and have a shorter staircase or ladder which makes them suitable for smaller rooms. They are made up of only a single UK mattress and add a variety of useful components beneath. From a clever desk that opens up to an open cupboard ready to hold totes to elegant drawer storage with smooth no-wobble operation.

Some go more than that and come with the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units with wheels. There are four drawers of storage and two cabinets that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level with doors that match the color of the foot and headboards.

The Luna low line loft bed, also known as a Midi storage bed is small and comes with everything you require including a ladder that can be turned into a desk that slides into and out of the way on wheels, a three drawer chest, and cabinet, all included. Some midi loft beds with storage come with a desk already in the bunk (as shown in the image above) and others, like our Luna Midi Bunk have the ladder set on the right hand side, so that the desk can be put on the left (please ask in store, or on the phone, or in the comments section when checking out if this is important to you).

Most midi loft beds require the standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) and a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget.

Storage

These beds are smaller than high-sleepers, and include a ladder or staircase for easy access. They are also typically fitted with a range of clever storage options like drawers, a desk and cabinets for toys, books and other belongings. Some midi loft beds even have an attractive tent that transforms the sleeping space into a cosy space for games, activities and sleepovers.

Some of our midi-cabin beds have the possibility of adding doors onto the cabinets and drawers. They are available in the same color as the head and foot board that you have selected. Please ask in store, by phone, or add a note to your order if this is something that you need.

The Luna low line loft or midi has a low-level staircase that can be turned, a desk with wheels that slides in and outside, two large drawers, and a cupboard door. Mattress

Most midi beds take standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk has a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models come with a fabulous pull out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or more storage space below the bed. They can be either open or equipped with doors (please see the product details for complete details).

Many midi cabins come with a desk that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This gives children the space they need to store all of their belongings. This also means they don't need to take up valuable floor space by using large wardrobes or shelves.

Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is great for storing books and toys.
